Attractions

In Masurska Gajówka you will naturally rest ...

There is a lot of space around the house, a fireplace and a large barbecue shelter. There is a playground and an outdoor gym nearby and the city beach is far away by approx. 400 meters. Another attraction for children is the rope park near the port. For lovers of cycling and active leisure, we recommend a nearby bicycle rental. There are many beautiful cycling routes here.
There is also a place to ride roller skates, and roller-skating marathons are held here every year.
If you like water sports, we recommend kayaking on the Krutynia River, with beautiful views, shallow water encouraging you to stop and swim.
There are also many places nearby where you can rent a pedalo, sailboat or motorboat, and even try water skiing.
An interesting attraction are hourly boat cruises on Lake Nidzkie and Guzianka Wielka with a panoramic view of the lock or longer, several-hour cruises – across Lake Śniardwy to Mikołajki.
However, if you prefer to rest more calmly, a lake with a pier is waiting for you, where you can fish and sit at the beautiful sunset.
In autumn, however, we invite you to mushroom picking in the beautiful forests of the Piska Forest.

Nearby attractions:

We encourage you to visit the Wild Animal Park in Kadzidłowo. It is a private zoo recognized in Poland, established by an outstanding scientist, Ph.D. Andrzej Krzywiński in the mid-forest meadows inside the Piska Primeval Forest. Most of the animals in the Park are tame and friendly with humans, hence it is possible to enter some species on their extensive enclosures and even feed, stroke and watch them closely. In addition to the group of animal species of Siberia and the Far East, the Park can mainly admire our native species, especially those rare and endangered, because the Park is a kind of species protection center.

Another place worth visiting is Galindia – a stylized Old Prussian settlement of the Bałty tribe situated on the promontory of the village of Iznota; Gałkowo – a place known for horse breeding, horse competitions and shows, and the atmospheric restaurant located in the former forester’s lodge of the Lehndorf count, moved from Sztynort; the tourist town of Mikołajki with a water park and, for history lovers, the castle in Reszel, Ryn or Kętrzyn, as well as several palace complexes.
